Time of Drivers Pilots handmade automatic chronograph luxury watch with a customized dial featuring Juan Manuel Fangio's red Maserati 4CLT reproduced on the dial first by hand-engraving it on a Corozo base, then hand-painting it using the miniature technique. Known affectionately as El Chueco ("the bowlegged" or "bandy legged one") or El Maestro ("The Master"), Argentinian racing car driver Juan Manuel Fangio dominated the first decade of Formula One racing by winning the World Drivers' Championship five times—a record which stood for 47 years—with four different teams (Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Maserati), an accomplishment that has not been repeated.

Created in 2001, the Time of Driver collection immediately attracted the attention of racing fans all over the world. Today, the Time of Driver is back in a completely revised version, both in construction and in spirit. Zannetti has, in effect, abandoned the "celebratory" character of the watch and replaced it with a time marker, which seems in its own right to be the manifestation of the concept of speed. It has a solid steel case, rendered precious by lugs which have been carefully tooled, it has original chronograph buttons (the reset button, and not by chance, looks like a gear stick) and the winding-button has a tire-pattern engraved on it. The bezel too is particular in that it has Arabic character indexes engraved or enameled all around. Each watch has a tried and tested Swiss chronograph caliber, produced by Valjoux and refined by Soprod in compliance with Zannetti’s technical specifications. The rhodium of the bridges and pillar plate has been carefully executed, the screws are in blue steel, the finishing touches are Côte de Geneve and perlage pattern. The internal movement is perfectly visible thanks to the spacious sapphire crystal casing on the back.
