To ensure that the story is preserved and the accessory underlines the beauty of the writing instrument, Caran d’Ache, Maison de Haute Ecriture has produced a limited number of the new PERLA set, designed around the Akoya pearl. The set is composed of a Perla writing instrument and an elegant, matching Perla pendant.

A woman’s elegance is revealed in the precise choices she makes, with each element contributing to her personal style. For this reason, nothing has been left to chance: the writing instruments perfectly match the jewel to create a piece of ultimate refinement. In choosing a Caran d’Ache writing instrument a woman is choosing a signature of harmony and style, and when the perfectly matched jewel appears on her neck, the harmony is complete.

Mysterious and highly appreciated, the Akoya pearl is a treasure blessed with ideal proportions. Traditionally cultivated in the Sea of Japan, for almost one hundred years it has itself been part of a journey and a story.

The body and cap of the writing instrument are entirely created in the company’s Geneva workshops. They are coated with platinum and subtly engraved with whorls inspired by a sea shell. The cap is crowned by a jewel, the Akoya pearl, which makes the pen a truly emotive object. The matching pendant is also platinum-coated and embellished with five prestigious Akoya pearls.
