S.T. Dupont has decided to relaunch a collection of leather goods featuring patinated leather, the colors and contrasts of which call on the Maison’s very first form of expertise. This art of patina is carried out entirely by hand, lends colors shades and contrasts beyond compare and meticulous attention at every stage.

The process of skin selection is the very first evidence of this. Only the purest specimens are accepted, which are prepared using a completely natural method of vegetable tanning so that they can reveal the full intensity of the color. An unique patina, obtained with natural pigments, is disclosed by hand on each product. Distinctive layers are applied on the leather, an extract of S.T. Dupont natural lacquer oil is now disclosed in the meticulous process to give a special shininess to the contrasts and reveal deep shades of each color.

A LEGENDARY SIGNATURE

The Atelier S.T. Dupont collection is stamped with the old S.T. Dupont logo and the winged wheel hallmark. The date 1872, references of the atelier’s creation is also inscribed on the products. Depending on the color contrasts obtained, the handmade production process gives the product its very own depth and soul.
