The Link Series 1 ballpoint pen, produced in 1001 pieces, numbered 0001 to 1001, contains a precision push-button mechanism and comes with the famous Goliath giant cartridge from Caran d’Ache that offers a capacity of 600 A4 pages of handwriting. Replacement cartridges are available in three ball sizes (F,M, B) to suit all styles of writing. Each writing instrument is delicately numbered on one of the leaves of mother-of-pearl. The rhodium-coating on the metal elements of the writing instruments gives them a wonderful sparkle and provides excellent protection. This rare metal, particularly difficult to extract, is some three time more expensive than gold.
