The Caran d'Ache Leman Bicolor Saffron Silver Plated Rhodium Coated Mechanical Pencil .7mm features a silky smooth bright Saffron lacquer coating the gently rounded shape of its metal body. Saffron evokes the spice that gives it both its name and its color. And the godron ("line") decoration of the silver plated cap emphasizes the pencil's refined design.

Every element of the Caran d'Ache Bicolor Saffron Silver Rhodium Pencil, which is entirely produced in the company's Geneva workshops, demonstrates "Swiss Made" quality.

A spring-loaded clip gives them great flexibility and ensures a long service life. The silvered parts are coated with rhodium, a rare, difficult-to-extract metal in the platinum family that is some ten times more expensive than gold.
