A champion silhouette receives an injection of agility and trackside authenticity to recognize the jubilee 70th season of Formula 1® The F1® Seventy brings turbo-charged upgrades to front-row Italian design and performance. Precision detailing and ‘ghost’ etching brings the mojo of motorsport’s richest prize into the writing arena, while adding grip to the sensation of feather-light, high-tech handling.

A radical rethink of the Extra Otto uses titanium and carbon fiber to create a housing among the lightest and strongest in its class. Advanced tooling is used to mill every edge to perfection and accentuate the flawless writing performance of an elite silhouette that belongs firmly at the front row of the grid.

The F1 Seventy possesses flash and finesse in equal measure, as well as an official sanction from Formula 1. Racing-red enamel is applied to a debossed F1 logo in the cap top, and special, jubilee-season branding is ‘ghost’-etched into the barrel and cap.

Tonal racing-stripes, tire tread patterning and a high-grade Damascus polish provide further surface detailing with superior grip. The victor’s chequered flag is also incorporated onto a titanium cap band: only 33 drivers from 14 countries have won the FIA Formula One World Championship since its inception.

Speed-freaks who are also purists can feel the acceleration of a fountain pen fitted with a custom, 18K gold nib – backed by a proprietary piston-fill system that has long been the envy of rival makers.

The F1® Seventy is officially sanctioned by the world’s premier motorsport championship, and brandishes the F1 logo in red enamel on the finial disc and fountain pen nib. Official commemorative F1 Seventy branding is etched into its cap and barrel.

Every handmade example is individually numbered and certified up to a maximum of 100 fountain pens – each with a custom 18K gold nib and Montegrappa’s proprietary piston fill. A deluxe F1 presentation box is a showcase for a true trophy pen.
