Mario Botta for Caran d'Ache
The collaboration between the Swiss architect, Mario Botta, and Caran d'Ache is part of a long tradition. The company has always embraced current trends in architecture, particularly with such legendary pens as La Gotica and La Modernista.
The Mario Botta for Caran d'Ache pen reflects the Bauhaus approach in its graceful, minimalist design and cylindrical shape. Created in Mario Botta's pure, contemporary style, it is crowned with a genuine peacock feather that suggests a new fashion trend. 2005 examples of the pen have been produced.
There is an old French saying that beautiful feathers make a beautiful bird. If so, the Mario Botta for Caran d’Ache pen is sure to win the hearts of all lovers of fine writing instruments.
Peacock Feather
Genuine peacock feather from peacock farms in India. Feathers dropped by the birds are collected, washed and sterilized in steam (100°C). Detachable, fixed with a magnet. Peacock feathers are delicate and should be handled carefully. No special maintenance is required.
