26" Maple Wood Globe W/4 Leg Maple Wood Base, Stained Continents

This very impressive globe will be a wonderful conversation piece and the perfect addition to any home or office! It features 1,000 hand-cut pieces of the finest maple wood positioned together to represent countries from around the world. There are also 665 hand-cut pieces of dark maple wood cut and shaped to represent each country in order to contrast against the 335 hand-cut panel pieces of light maple wood that represent the ocean.

The finest quality of light and dark maple found in Malaysia and Vietnam are used. Each longitude and latitude line is made from a 24K gold plated bass ribbon and hand placed in the precise location. All of the lettering is hand placed to identify each country, ocean, and so forth. The globe rests on a stately four-leg wood base and will make a fine addition to any home or office.

As with our other globe collections the most qualified and meticulous craftsmen carefully execute the production of these spectacular pieces.

Cleaning/Care Instructions: On the globe use a soft cloth with a small amount of rubbing alcohol to shine and remove fingerprints. Do not use the rubbing alcohol on metal parts, it is too harsh. On the metal stand or arch, use a soft cotton cloth with a very small amount of hand lotion to remove fingerprints. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe away the lotion and shine.
