FMR Magazine
FMR was founded in 1964 in Parma, the ancient ducal capital, where Ferdinand of Bourbon ordered the great typographer G. B. Bodoni to manage the royal printworks from 1768 onwards. Since 1982, the publisher's appointment with beauty has become a regular occurence, thanks to the creation of FMR Magazine, described by Federico Fellini as the "black pearl" of world publishing.
It was an immediate and huge success. Distributed in over 110 countries worldwide, for over 25 years FMR has represented a treasure chest which, every two months, opens to display art treasures from all over the world. It is a well known and much appreciated object of voluptous originality, thanks to its content, its impeccable imabe quality, and the material from which it is created. 2002 was a year of rebirth for FMR. Its development and its creativity was given a real boost thanks to the takeover of the publishing house by the ARTE Group.
