The places in the fertile countryside near Parma where the celebrated Maestro of Italian opera chose to spend eighty of his eighty-eight years, and where he composed his best-loved operas: Rigoletto, II Trovatore, La Traviata, Aida, Un ballo in maschera, and Falstaff.
