El Real Monasterio de El Escorial The Royal Monastery of the Escorial The volume in the Grand Tour collection entitled El Real Monasterio de El Escorial, published jointly with the Patrimonio Nacional, appears in a limited edition of one thousand copies. The work includes an essay by Professor Antonio Bonet Correa, with a foreword by Yago Pico de Coana, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Patrimonio Nacional. This volume, consisting of 180 pages, printed in five colours on mat gardamat paper, is hand-sewn and hand-bound in black Orient silk. The cover has a hand-placed colour plate and gold ornament.
