Ecridor XS Retro Pens by Caran D'Ache

Encouraged by the success which the Ecridor Commemorative Edition has enjoyed since May 1997, Caran d'Ache has launched the Ecridor Retro Collection, consisting of a fountain pen, a rollerball/fibre-tipped pen, a ballpoint pen and a mechanical pencil. All are silver-plated and bear on the top of the cap or the push-button the elegant new CDA monogram.

The leading product of the Geneva-based manufacturer, the hexagonal Ecridor pen, celebrated last year the 50th anniversary of its first delivery. To mark the event, Caran d'Ache created a ballpoint pen whose engraved pattern was identical to that of the 1947 model. The Ecridor commemorative edition, presented in a fifties-styled metal box, proved so successful that it was decided to create a complete retro collection including four writing instruments.

The leading product of the Ecridor Retro Collection is the fountain pen, available either with a steel nib (writing widths EF-F-M-B) or with a rhodium-coated 18-carat gold-nib (F-M-B). The body of the four pens is made of silver-plated brass, ensuring their sturdiness. For the personalised engraving of each pen, a small 10-mm-wide field has been reserved on the face opposite the clip.

The Caran D'Ache Ecridor XS Retro Ecridor Pen Collection is available in the following modes:

Mechanical Pencil: Push button mechanism. 0.5 mm leads. Eraser under push button.

The Caran D'Ache Ecridor XS: Ecridor XS, an abbreviation of extra small, measures only 96 mm, which is 30 mm shorter than the traditional Ecridor. It represents the smallest elegant jewel of Caran d'Ache writing instruments. Swiss Luxury Pen Collection is smart in looks and durable in performance.
