The stunning Peach Melba is a bright orange, glowing with inner light as rich veins of light yellow and cream dance throughout the surface of the cap and barrel. Peach Melba was a dessert dish originally created in the late 1800s by Auguste Escoffier at the Savoy Hotel, London. Escoffier had heard Nellie Melba, a famous opera singer from Australia, perform one night and was inspired to create a dessert just for her. We like to think of our Sterling Duro Peach Melba as being every bit as tasty as the dish itself. (With far fewer calories!)
When you remove the cap, you unveil a shining solid sterling silver section graced with a two tone 18K gold nib. The 18 carat solid gold nib is available in a choice of eight grades, from Extra Fine to Extra Broad, Italic Fine, Italic Medium and Italic Broad. The solid sterling silver section brings the weight of the pen forward in the hand, ensuring perfect balance when writing. Setting pen to paper is transformed from an everyday chore into an elegant event!
