The Santos de Cartier luxury ballpoint pen, features steel plated lacquer and platinum finishes. The design uses the double screw motif used for the watch collection. In discreet fashion, Santos de Cartier pens pay tribute to the aviator, Alberto Santos-Dumont. His friend, Louis Cartier, invented a watch, with a leather band and buckle, so that Santos-Dumont could more easily time his performance during flight.
