Bicolor Saffron Silver Leman Collection Pens by Caran D'Ache

Four new silver and saffron models have been added to the Bicolor line in the Leman Swiss luxury writing pen collection. The fountain pen, the rollerball, the ballpoint and the mechanical pencil all gleam with the silky saffron lacquer that covers their rounded bodies. Both materials, lacquer and rhodium-coated, silver-plated metal, have a brilliant shine, while the "line" design of the silver-plated cap emphasizes the pen's refined design.

As with all the models in the Leman Swiss luxury writing instrument collection, the four new writing instruments have a spring-loaded clip that makes them highly flexible and easy to use, and ensures a long service life.

The Leman Bicolor Saffron fountain pen is fitted with either an ink pump or a cartridge. The Rhodium coated 18-carat gold nib is available in three different widths: fine, medium and broad.
The rollerball uses a roller point cartridge.
The ballpoint contains a high-precision rotating mechanism. It is fitted with the famous "Goliath" giant cartridge that has a capacity of writing, without dribbles or blots, up to 600 A4 pages.
The mechanical pencil, with its proven, high-precision rotating mechanism, contains leads of 0.7mm diameter.

The metallic elements are given maximum resistance to scratching or scraping by a coating of rhodium, an extremely hard, noble metal from the platinum family. Due to its rarity and the difficulty of extraction, rhodium is approximately 10 times more expensive than gold. Its main advantage is that it does not oxidize, which ensures that Leman Bicolor Saffron pens will never lose their wonderfully brilliant shine.
