A real jewel for collectors and admirers all over the world, the Leonardo da Vinci pen, created by Aurora, a historic company, producing high quality writing instruments, is a tribute to the greatest genius of all time. The Leonard da Vinci Pen collection is a line of unequalled beauty and technical perfection, in which writing, art and science all come together.

Leonardo is available in a limited edition of only 1919 pieces, recalling the founding year of the company.  The Leonardo pen has an elegant barrel in Bordeaux resin and a gold plated cap with lacquer-filled engravings drawn from the Maestro’s codex on the flight of birds.

Elements conveying the uniqueness of this pen include the gold plated head of the cap and the clip, characterized by an original joint movement, which, in the design conceived by Giampiero Bodino, evokes a Leonardian sketch regarding the flight of birds.

The nib, in 18kt gold, tapered and elegant, has a finely shaped handmade joint in black resin. Hidden in the gold-plated base, moreover, this Aurora jewel hides a new extraordinary lever loading mechanism.  Of course, such a precious object could only have its presentation in a refined case, made of wood and satin, complete, on the inside, with a customized paperweight.
